2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin,
and will heal their land.

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. God knew all along when we prayed and prepared for our March Revival Meeting that the COVID-19 would cause us to postpone the meeting. However two months later we were able to have Evangelist Ben Burks. God used the preaching of Evang. Burks in our church in a very special way. Our last night of service went several hours with testimonies and tears. Most everyone recognized it was God's PERFECT TIMING. Easter Sunday was an event to remember. Always an exciting Sunday this year we added a cold wind, rain, thunder, and even lightning as we worshiped in the parking lot. Special guest Rebecca Peck played the piano with wet keys and sang a few selections she had written. Broadcasting the singing and preaching through a radio transmitter those in attendance tuned in to listen. Honking horns in agreement with song and sermon made for an unforgettable experience. Scripture reminds us that no obstacle should stand in the way of the church Matthew 16:18...the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. December 18th the Gospel Light Baptist Church newly formed choir of 22 members performed the "Hope of Christmas". What a blessing to see nearly 100 people fill the auditorium and join us in celebrating the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. We trust God will use this choir to sing for his glory in the NEW YEAR of 2020. After much searching we found a church van ready to be put into service for Jesus. This vehicle will allow our youth group to participate in local activities and summer camp events. We also use it for our outreach ministry as the "gospel team". We are able to pick up anyone who needs a ride to church. Praise God for his blessing in answer to prayer. Gospel Light Outreach Team had the privilege to help a church planter in Nashville. Dr. Richard Jacobs is starting the Nashville Baptist Church in Goodlettsville. Meeting at a park we divided up and canvassed the surrounding neighborhoods and delivered 600+ invitations for this new church. We are thankful to be able to participate in something that just a few years back was helpful to us. After 7 months of prayer and preparation we entered the Maury County Jail to share the gospel message and the freedom that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Working with the Chaplain we are using the Reformers Unanimous curriculum to lead men to Jesus Christ and help establish their Christian walk. Please pray for this new ministry every Monday at 7pm. We had a great week of camp at the Bill Rice Ranch! Thank you to all who gave financially to this great cause. Many life-changing decisions were made for the cause of Christ, also with great memories along the way.
